Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Musculoskeletal rehabilitation or rehab program can be defined as a doctor-supervised program that is specifically designed for people with disabilities and impairments due to injury, disorders, or disease to the bones, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. The musculoskeletal rehabilitation programs at Entrust Care help patients to improve their ability to function along with reducing symptoms.

Some of the health conditions, which might benefit from musculoskeletal rehabilitation are amputation, tendon tears, back pain, trauma injuries, arthritis, repetitive stress injuries, bone tumours, and joint injury. Musculoskeletal rehab programs can be done either on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

We at Entrust Care have come up with an efficient musculoskeletal program, which is capable of meeting the individual requirements of patients based on their specific disease or health condition. We would like to stress that the active involvement of both the patient and his or her family is critical for the success of the program.

The primary goal of the musculoskeletal rehabilitation program at Entrust Care is to help the patient to return to his or her highest level of function. To help the patient achieve this, our musculoskeletal rehabilitation program includes pain management, exercise programs, nutritional counselling, vocational counselling, stress management, emotional support, and more.
